In October 2009, David King, Charbel Aouad and I embarked upon a great adventure to the Middle East.

Based on the vast developmental programs taking place in the region at the time, we were already aware of the overstretched infrastructure, the rising demands for water and the reliance on desalination, so we flew to Dubai with simple ambitions. Indentify a suitable local partner and to establish the leading water conservation company in the region. VERTECO was then born.

VERTECO is part of WhiffAway Group and is recognised as a leading specialist in water conservation and support services in the MENA region, covering both domestic and commercial environments.

Today our core focuses are on waterless urinal technology, biological solutions, hygiene solutions, Closed Systems, scent Marketing and water efficient innovations via SaveWaterUAE.

Growth levels have been exceptional and the amount of water we are saving for future generations is something to be extremely proud of. A big well done to David and his team and keep up the incredible work!! All I can do is look back and smile to see how far we have come and look forward to the very exciting days ahead.
